We provide permanent and fixed-term recruitment and search services to clients looking to recruit individuals for their business(es). 


What type of information and data do we collect?

Such as the nature of our business, we collate, store and process information and personal data as part of the recruitment/head hunting process and as part of your search for a new position. The type of personal information we may collect and/or hold includes; CVs, contact details, identification documents, referee details and/or references, educational records.

We may also need to collect sensitive personal data about you, in the form of; nationality, race, ethnic origin, health, visa status, remuneration package and other sensitive information. We would only ever collect this sensitive personal data if you provided us with your consent to do so.


Where do we collect your data from?

We may collect your data from the following sources: 

  • Directly from you

  • Publicly available sources 

  • LinkedIn, and other professional networking sites 

  • Corporate and business websites 

  • Job Boards 

  • Referral (word of mouth, such as referred by a mutual connection)


Why do we collect your personal data? 

We collect and use your personal data to match your experience and skills with a potential employer. This may be for a permanent or fixed-term contract opportunity. As part of the process of introducing you to our client/prospective employer, we will initially collect data including; your CV, career history, job title, responsibilities and contact details. Further stages of the recruitment process may require collecting further information from you.


How long do we keep your data for?

We only retain your information for as long as is necessary for us to use your information as described above and/or to comply with our legal obligations.


Legal basis for holding your data

The basis for holding your personal data is determined on one or more of the following reasons:

  • Legitimate interest (noted above) and where we will ensure the data is accurate and we have been transparent with you

  • Your consent (You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting hello@classic10.co.uk)

  • Legal obligations under applicable law to retain records for a certain period

  • Potential disputes

  • If you withdraw consent and request to be removed


Who do we share your personal data with?

Your personal data will only be shared with clients who instruct a search and have a contractual agreement with Classic 10, and with clients we believe may have a job requirement for someone with your experience and skill set (approved by yourself).

Strictly with your permission, we may be required to transfer your personal data outside the EEA for a suitable job opportunity with one of our clients. Privacy laws in these countries may be different to your home country. Where we transfer your data to a country which has not been deemed to provide adequate data protection standards, we always have security measures in place to protect your data.

Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information. 

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances. 

Your right to object to processing - You have the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.
